VulcanHose™ Abrasion Resistant Hose
Our newly introduced offering of VulcanHose™ is an alumina ceramic interior lined rubber hose that is wear, impact and corrosion resistant. It’s flexibility along with an assortment of end connections, sizes and custom made lengths are sure to meet your abrasion resistant hose needs.
Alumina ceramic embedded in flexible rubber provides multiple benefits not found in other abrasion resistant pipe, tube or hose products;
- With hardness next to diamond on the Mohs scale, alumina ceramic provides outstanding wear resistance that is 10X greater than carbon steel
- Small tiles embedded into the rubber provides a smooth and uniform internal surface that helps reduce pressure drop and erosion
The rubber grade selected for VulcanHose™ is corrosion resistant to many chemicals and provides all the benefits of a rubber product;
- Flexibility to fit in difficult locations
- Excellent for connecting non-stationary equipment
- Impact forces dissipated through the rubber
- Helps isolate vibration
VulcanHose™ offers other types of flexibility as well to easily fit into your system;
- Hose ends can be provided with flanges, Camlocks, grip locks, twist claw, threaded or plain
- Custom lengths can be provided up to 65’ as a continuous hose
- Longer lengths can be provided by connecting multiple pieces
- Maximum operating temperature of 250˚F
- Maximum operating pressure of 150 psig
